He then pursued his degree in Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon before obtaining a Master of Science degree from the Medical School at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. His research during this time was focused on craniofacial proportions using 3D X-rays (CBCT). Dr. Halpern then returned to Winnipeg to obtain his Orthodontic Specialty from the University of Manitoba as part of his second Master of Science degree. During this time, he conducted research on growth maturation indicators using 3D X-rays (CBCT), demonstrating his dedication to advancing orthodontic treatment.
